Pictures of Jersi

Here are just some random pics..

This is one of Jersi's classic faces. She usually does the ol' one eye when she's waking up and wants to nurse.

My dad is holding Jersi's head up.

She's ready to go!

Taking a Sunday afternoon nap.

Jersi is saying peace out (with the wrong two fingers).

Jersi's room

So we finally finished Jersi's crib! We bought it white and painted it black. It looks really good and Jase did a great job. The crib bedding, I'm not so sure about. I bought it thinking it would be gender neutral enough for both a girl a and a boy. I got it, set it up in the crib, and realized it's a little too blue and I want something a little more pink. I've posted it on craigslist to see if I can sell it and, in exchange, buy something more girly. Hopefully someone will want it!

J-E-R-S-I

On Saturday Jase and I spray painted and hung up the letters in Jersi's name on her wall. I think it looks pretty good, if I might say so myself.

Visit from the grandparents!

Jase's mom flew in on Tuesday and Jase's dad drove up from Charlotte on Friday. I got to spend lots of time with Jase's mom while Jase was at school all day. She helped me sew one of my shirts, passed along some good recipes, cooked endless amounts of food, went on walks together, oh, and how could I forget, she watched the baby while I took naps (the best part of it all!).

My parents came and spent a long weekend with me and Jersi while Jase was in Boston for AAO. We had tons of fun and stayed busy, busy, busy! We went on a walk to the river, took trips to the grocery store, Ikea, Target, Babies R Us, and to the mall. We also went to movies and dinners, and cooked lots of food, including one of my favorites, banana pudding.

Jersi loves and misses you guys and can't wait to see everyone in NC in July!
